From Dream Mall, I headed to the famed Love River. Here is an excerpt I found describing this river.
"Love River, which is just twelve kilometres long, has its source in Pa-kua-liao, Jen-wu Hsiang in Kaohsiung Hsien (County) of Taiwan. The river flows southwest through the industrial city of Kaohsiung and into Kaohsiung Harbour, one of the busiest container ports in the world.
To the outsider, Love River may seem insignificant among the great rivers of Taiwan and may even appear as little more than a drainage canal. However, in the eyes of local residents, Love River is a central artery from which has grown today's great port city of Kaohsiung. Along its banks lie much of the history and culture of the city. Along its banks are many tales of love lost or found, and hence the name - Love River."
