Day 3 (Taipei)

Met Lori, Erin and Karen at 7.30 pm for dinner.

Lori suggested this small European style coffee house near Sogo.  The coffee house is small, cosy and with excellent service. Even before we went in, I already like it. I look around for the name of the establishment and found that it is called Nikko Coffee House. Well, dont let the Japanese sounding name fool you, the decor inside actually reminds one of a home in Scandinavia. The place is also reputed to serve the best ice coffee in Taipei too.

All of us except Erin, ordered the steak with rice under the recommendation of Lori who have been here for quite a few times. Man~ the steak with rice was just excellent. So good that I felt like having a second round. However, my senses soon got the better of me when I realised they are closing soon and we asked for the desserts to be served.

This humble place is a hidden gem in the city. I am noting this eatery down as one of my favorites.
