Weirdo On Aisle Five

Since I've been back in Japan, I've Hayawatha'd once in the 'hood; late at night; once; the night I fell off my bike. So must have been April 29th ish.
Since then, I wake up, put on my 3/4 length black naff trousers from Guaymas, Mexico, one of my two 105 yen tops, and uh, that's it.
If I go shopping, I usually wear my worn-to-death beige cords and whatever.
I have never, in daylight, gone out like I look in this photo. Cos, well, this is Japan.
And I am a teacher.
But tonight, I was tipsy, it was 7.15pm, dark, and the cats needed some food.
'Do I change or do I go?', I said to myself, to the tune of some Mod song from the 60's.
I went.
Cos I thought, 'It's late. Nobody who I know will be shopping at this time of night.'
How wrong was I.
Half the school was in the supermarket and my teacher-friend who works in the same office as me.
She said,
'Holy cow! Is that you!! You look so nice!'
I was like, ' I am not who you think I am.'
He he he he he.
20.32.
I had only 2 hrs of sleep last night.
Disturbed sleep.
I'm gonna hit the sack.
Nite.
